It’s 7:30 AM right now, my brain is feeling foggy, and the following words are feeling forced. But fuck it, here it goes. I have been on the fence for years with starting a blog, I’m typically always in the “research phase”. With the following barriers that stop me from getting started:
Should I self host?
How do I optimize SEO?
How will I engage my “audience”?
Do I need a social media presence?
Will people give a shit?
Most of the hesitations are driven by fear and my ADHD. I chose write.as for this exact reason, it seems less focused on the bullshit and monetization of a blog and on the art of writing content. Whether my writing will be worth you giving a shit, remains to be seen. Either way, welcome!
My interests are typically technology, finance, politics and the crushing hands of society, so most and if not all my posts will be about these topics. Although my ADHD tends to take me down some fucked up rabbit holes. So, feel free to follow along, or don’t. I’ll be here.
